Drama

With a squawk of fear the juvenile heron dropped his large trout on the bank and cowered watching the huge talons of the red kite flying towards him at speed to try and steal it. Meanwhile juvenile's mum was overseeing this from above in the tree and trying to scare off the kite. All in a days drama at Horn Mill Trout Farm. 

The Kite surprisingly missed his meal!
