Oh crumbs!

The moral of this story is, don't forget to empty your toaster's crumb tray from time to time....

Another (final) full-on day of cleaning the flat ready for our move.  I finished cleaning most of the rest of the bathroom (the floor in particular), and the rest of the kitchen, too.  I thought it would be a good time to empty the crumb tray, before cleaning the surfaces - glad I did, because it was like a toasty version of the Magic Porridge Pot (no matter how much I got out of there, it just kept coming)!  This pile was actually what came out after emptying the (full) crumb tray.  And it's not a trick of perspective - it was virtually a whole loaf's worth!

Tim finished cleaning everything in the dining room, and did various other bits, too.  We were exhausted again by the evening, but took a bit of time to gather some stuff together that we didn't want the removals firm to pack, ready for us to take in the car with us.  I also cooked us a curry for dinner, and we watched an episode of Get Shorty on catch-up.
