Festival flags

The Edinburgh Canal Festival is now just over a week away - so, in preparation, the 'Festival flags' were erected across our local stretch of the Union Canal earlier this morning :-)

As mentioned in previous blips, the Edinburgh Union Canal Society will have a couple of large tents, opposite the Boathouse - with cakes, snacks and hot drinks all for sale on the day. There will also be a tombola with wonderful prizes; and our two restored, traditional rowing-boats will be for general hire.

There's now a detailed programme, for the whole Festival, available here and an overall site-map is here. All the main activities are happening between 12noon and 4.30pm, on Saturday 17th June ...
