Off To Do My Donkey Work

It's been really humid and close today.  The thunderstorm hit about an hour before I had to be on the meadow and what you can see here is the water vapour on the street.  It was very hot.

I did all my chores - two water trips, which with my back was pretty uncomfortable.  But my donkeys were happy which is all that matters.

I was getting ready to leave after tidying up even more poo when Emil just stood in my way.  He wanted attention and lots of it - so lots of ear scratching and me talking to him.  

Your Donkey Fact Of The Day - if there are two people in the field, one behind the donkey and one in front  and they are talking, the donkey will point one ear backwards and one forwards.

If you can find somewhere that looks after donkeys  - go volunteer.  It's hugely rewarding.
