Beauty is all around us.

New narrowboats and Tabby cat.

The Feast Day of Saint Columba.
It is a lovely sunny Friday and the breeze is helping it stay cool.
I have been doing housework and then had a good walk. There were five boats moored beside the canal cafe.
I liked some of the innovative names on the narrowboats, one being called Timeless. Another was Toads croak.
Paul is being very persevering in emptying the loft. Most of it is now crockery and items we brought from our first house and had in 1986. Paul has coped well with the high amount of dust, and I persuaded him to wear a face mask as it is unhealthy to inhale so much loft dust.
Counting the blessings, we are fortunate to be within 15 minutes drive of a well-organised recycling centre.
They save as much as they can and have all the areas clearly labelled so people can keep within the recycling rules.
We received our moving date from our solicitors. They have been kind, helpful and efficient.
So 19th July is moving day. I hope the weather is kind to us and it all happens smoothly.
Thank you for dropping by and have a good day blip friends.
