Beauty is all around us.

Leeds Liverpool canal. Boats, Father swan & crew.

The Special Feast Day of Our Lord as Eternal High Priest.  From the Universal Church Calendar.
Also, the Feast Day of St. Columba. 521AD.
I am thankful for the beautiful  light, dry, mild beginning to this morning here in Rishton. It is about 15c in Liverpool, the laptop reading says, and rain is forecast.
I am here with Arthur. His eye has recovered and he is asleep now in his comfortable cat cushion. His sneezing is the most concerning aspect to his cat way of being, otherwise all seems age appropriate. He is 17 cat years bless him.
I was surprised and cautiously delighted, to see the Father swan, and the remaining six cygnets from a distance near the boats on the canal. One is missing, but no clue so far as to how or why. An unexplainable turn of events has currently caused a sad separation on the core swan family from Mother swan. I find this heart breaking because swans traditionally mate for life and this is not what we hope for. Praying for a swan reconciliation if that is in God's Plan. I think Mother swan is still alive, so there is good reason to hope to see them all together in an aura of peace.
I am soon going to see about buying a big deep piece of foam for a booster cushion, for our armchair, if it is affordable.
Thank you for dropping by and have a good Thursday.
