Snowballs in June

We got on the road right after breakfast. The scenery wasn’t as diverse as yesterday, mostly forests. We came upon four vehicle accidents which is unusual. They definitely delayed our arrival in Chattanooga. Hubby’s brother and sister-in-law from Albany arrived yesterday. Being so close to the Canadian border, we were concerned about flight cancellations. One sister is coming from Mississippi and the other from Virginia. They should get here later this afternoon. We decided to stay an extra day since it is only once a year they get together. I am so blessed that most of my family is within an hour’s drive. We stopped and bought goodies for the reunion dinner and our hospitality room here at the hotel. This snowball bush is planted right outside that room; will make a nice reminder of our weekend adventure. I imagine the siblings are going to make their hours together count and sleep next week.
