Flower friday

The sun has shone and we’ve been warm .. hallelujah!!
I have been asked to paint a view from a friends garden.. it’s very tricky to paint something for someone when it means so much to them. I did a sketch and a quick watercolour but must work on it and try again at home using photos I took.
This afternoon I managed to acquire a free water butt off gumtree for the allotment ,pity we can’t get it there before the rain is due..we have had no rain here since the middle of may!!
