Scarce Chaser

 Doing a balancing act on a stalk this female scarce chaser posed nicely and was only interrupted by being dive bombed by a few damsels which was obviously very irritating for her.

Out for a walk with the camera - it was far too hot for Poppy to come with me which was unfortunate but I managed to infiltrate areas which I otherwise couldn't have gone into with her.

The weather now after being hot and humid has finally broken and we have torrential rain, thunder and lightening. I have Poppy now under my legs at the computer and although she is not quite completely deaf she is aware of the storm. Goodness it's quite Floridian out there with the crashes and bangs!
