Across the water

Low tide reveals an old anchor in the silt of the river Mersey at Seacombe. I wonder what sort of boat it once belonged to and what the story of its dereliction would be.

Across the water a colossal cruise ship is in port, complementing the gracious waterfront.

After our stroll here we went for a delicious pub lunch in the Wirral countryside.
