Phlox

It was always going to be a flower blip today. We saw a lot on our walk around the Quilts circuit this morning, including some gorgeous lupins in someone's garden that I was very envious of.

The walk was hot and sweaty, but not very sunny. The rest of the day was filled with various bits and pieces that needed sorting. I had the car valeted - and not before time. It needed a deep clean. We planted out a fuchsia we'd brought up from Edinburgh and did a bit more watering (although it may have rained after we left). Finally, we went to the Inver Inn for a spot of lunch before a late afternoon return to Edinburgh which went very smoothly.

A short weekend, but a great one none the less.
