Wood Avens ( Geum urbanum )

The main occupation of the day was a trip to the studio to start the process of winding down before the end of the month.  A lot of inventory taking and some good decisions were made.  In the evening the promised thunderstorms arrived.  incredibly heavy rain but only for a short time. 

Continuing my attempt at 30 days wild (well 29 actually as I posted garden flower on the second) this shot is from Clickychick's woodland garden.  One of the many wild things that have made their own way into our garden.

Found throughout Europe and into North Africa with the exception of some islands and the far north.  Folklore suggests it protects against evil spirits, rabid dogs and venemous snakes.
