Flambéed chicken with asparagus for tea! With Jersey Royal potatoes.
Yummy!!

Made with brandy and crème fraiche it is delicious.
Making use of the short asparagus season.

Last night we had a wonderful meal at Prashad.
Started with a tasting platter.
Then four main courses
Chole
Seasonal vegetable Handi
Paneer Massala
Renghan and seasonal bean
which we shared between us along with coriander rice, and Puri.

Prashad is not your normal Indian.
It is Indian vegetarian cuisine, from Gujarati and South India.

Opened 22 years ago by Kaushy and Mohan Patel, grown from a small deli to a 60 seat restaurant.
At Christmas they moved from small premises in Bradford to a converted pub in Drighlington.
Although now in the Michelin Guide and The Good Food Guide, they still use the authentic recipes and methods handed down from generations.
Kaushy's daughter-in-law Minal has taken over as head chef, and her husband is manager.

Our friend A was worried because it was vegetarian, but was totally won over!
Our taste buds worked over time!
