Wound up in Wexford

At the side of the road

For the last week or so, we've been driving past innumerable roadside stalls selling Wexford strawberries.  We've kept saying "we must stop".

Today, we drove up to Enniscorthy, dropped a few items at the charity shop - though they refused to take the good quality 13.5 tog double duvet (I'll see if I can find a taker on the internet), returned two unopened buckets of paint for a refund, and then spent a lot of money at the landscape supplies/builder's merchant, getting wood for shelving and raised beds.

On the way home, we saw this stall, and I pulled in.  Of course, we didn't just buy strawberries - we also got raspberries, tomatoes, and potatoes.  And the likely lad behind the counter managed to sell us a bottle of fresh apple juice - it will no doubt be very tasty, but at €5 it should be!

Lazy otherwise - we're both feeling a little under par
