That Will Do!

More Organised

After today's lunchtime Organ Recital of French music we were all invited to spend the next hour sitting in the organ gallery seats, learning about the Usher Hall organ and pipe organs in general - for example, how sound is created and the same notes varied according to manual and stops used. This is John Kitchen after the demonstration.

After coffee we decided to try out the tram route, newly opened to its original destination, all the way from the Mound (= 'Princes Street') to Newhaven, staying on it and traveling back through town to the airport. Here we deboarded, had a wander round and a coffee, then caught the tram back to our original stop and then the bus home.

All of which passed the day very pleasantly.
