Mono Monday: Week 490 ...

... Simplicity.

As it was mostly overcast with much needed rain in the afternoon I spent the day at home puttering around.   The wildlife wasn't fazed by the weather.  

I wouldn't normally convert these beautiful blue jays to mono but I made an exception for today's Mono Monday theme of "simplicity".  I liked that he/she had his 'crest' up ... I don't get photos like this very often.  Thanks to Carolina for hosting all this month.  I've added the original color version in Extras.   And as for the main ... I've gone with a high key conversion as I liked it best.  Another thing I don't normally do!
