Cucumbers and mushroom

A thunderstorm with heavy rain last night and good to have the water butt filled up. It soon got hot and dry agaduring the day.in but I got some gardening done.

I picked my first mini cucumber from my plant which I will eat tonight. I always use peat free compost which is often spent mushroom compost. This is illustrated by the large mushroom that has grown up in the cucumber pot.  I don't fancy eating that one though!
