AGAVE sisalana

My walking partner has this beautiful variegated AGAVE in her front garden.
Recently, this tall stalk appeared & seemed to grow a foot every day. It is now nearly
10 feet tall.

Today, the TINY flower buds have appeared.
I am told, the Hummingbirds swoon over
the flowers, when they bloom.

The appearance of the flowers is bittersweet, because the beautiful plant dies after blooming.
