Gillam's, Ulverston

A trip to Ulverston to see AJ.  On the way, we detoured to Bardsea hoping for a blip but I didn't like any of my efforts there.  There was a wonderful breeze, however, which made up for it.

Then to collect a parcel and home via Holker Hall for a cup of tea.  It was so hot customers were either under umbrellas or pressed into the shade - no-one seemed brave enough to sit out in the direct sunshine.  We sat in the cool inside.

No 2 son phoned for a catch up and I am looking forward to seeing him next week.
