Again?

I finished the three wee dishes this morning (2 of them have wee 'inserts') and sanded the inside of the leaking mug.

We got a phone call from one of H's daughters asking if we fancied a cuppa ... she was looking for legal advice as well as a catch-up.

We were there for about 3 hours and I came away absolutely raging!!!!
Not with her - with the police. (I still am)
She made a complaint to them 2 weeks ago about a very serious subject and they have done nothing.
I advised her on how to move forward, which department to contact, which 'phrases' to use and how to make it very hard for them to ignore her complaint.

This afternoon SWMBO got another call, to say that the police have been called again and they are coming back to deal with things. I gave her a couple of tips on what to say  and questions to ask about how they intend to carry it forward.
It certainly isn't going to be a quick fix and home life is going to get harder but it is too serious to ignore.

The driveway was weeded and a resin coat has been put on the leaking mug. The lathe will probably be running (very slowly) until tomorrow so that the coating is smooth and dry.

Sitting eating this evening and there was yet another bird tried coming through the window.
As you can see, it managed to leave a couple of very small (very dirty) feathers.
