Cambridge / King’s Cross / Streatham

We had breakfast at our B&B then set off to walk to the station.  It was a beautiful sunny morning and we had plenty of time, so we wandered through the centre of Cambridge admiring the buildings and generally enjoying ourselves.  Eventually we got to the station, in plenty of time for our train and duly arrived at London King’s Cross, where we met a university friend of MrMacD’s.  We were expecting to have a sandwich and a coffee with her but she insisted on taking us to the Granary Square Brasserie and treating us to a delicious meal and a bottle of wine - so unexpected and so generous.  Aren’t friends wonderful!  After parting company with our friend we caught the Victoria Line to London Victoria then home to Streatham Hill.  We had a relaxing evening at home catching up with emails and messages, then an early night.

Unfortunately, I’m way behind dipping into journals and responding to comments again.  Apologies - I’ll catch up soon.

The main blip is Cambridge and the extra is London.
