A Day Worth Recording

Opening the garden to the General Public (for charity, via the National Garden Scheme) is a bit of a lottery.

Sometime we are swept off our feet on an unexpected day.  Sometimes, it's a bit of a tumbleweed day.

We opened today and very few came.  We're putting this down to a mixture of threats of impending thunderstorms and the fact that fourteen, fourteen, other gardens were open in the area today.

However, we had quality rather than quantity and had the enjoyment of meeting two sets of near-ish neighbours for the first time.
