Rufous Hummingbird

Another slow rainy day! Read, walk, clean, create, wait for the rain and/or the wind to stop so we oould row (didn't happen). The sun came out briefly mid afternoon and shone on the hummingbird feeder so I took advantage of that for an uncommon little bird blip.
I was feeling that my Tamron 70-300 lens didn't get really good pictures but when Musings was here I did some tests with both her Canon 300 lens and this one and couldn't really tell the difference. (that's comforting actually - so it must be the photographer!)
Tomorrow 5 of my book cub will be arriving! :-) I hope the weather will be improving!
