Double digits

Today we hit 10,000 miles in M'vanwee. Much of that is just travelling south to get where we want to be, but it's still quite a distance!

A very full day of motorway-ness, getting south to be near S&D, although we'll not see much of them until Tuesday due to work. 

The day started fine but we headed towards Edgbaston and the Test Match and, sure enough, hit the heavy rain that stopped play. Quite invigorating to smell fresh water against parched ground through our open windows (it was still warm) although we could have done with being amphibious in places. As tomorrow is forecast to be rain free I hope the ground has a chance to absorb the moisture before the next rains arrive and prevent it disappearing as run off. 

Starting tonight at our usual pub site. Busy tonight, although we're thankful that the weather has prevented too many patrons from enjoying a noisy drink outside.  The big disadvantage of this otherwise very convenient site!
