Beach Berry

Hiding in the dunes before a mad run around Yellowcraig Beach this morning! We've been here three days and had yet to go to this lovely beach, so a quick trot down there before we left the campsite was well worth it.

So far we've had a scenic journey down through the Borders, stopping near Jedburgh to visit Monteviot Gardens; some lovely plantings to enjoy but time wasn't really on our side.  We really wanted to visit Jedburgh Abbey but it's closed due to masonry issues.  As was Melrose.  As was Dirleton Castle. Is there a big issue going on here, as it's very frustrating?!

Nearly at the next site in Richmond, N Yorks. Hope we get a decent pitch as we are definitely going to be arriving slightly later than anticipated.
