Ask and you shall get.

Very many moons ago now the Parish Council fenced off the children’s play area / swings and made it dog free, then opened up the rest of the playing field to dogs and dog walkers – 10 / 10 to most of us, especially the dog walkers.
 
At least it would have been if all the seats had not been fenced in with the swings . . .  !!!   This of course meant that if the family went out with the children (grandchildren) to the swings taking the family dog there was nowhere for the parent / dog holder (GRANDPARENT!) to sit down.   Worse still there was nowhere for an old f**** like me to sit down when half way through taking the hound for a walk anyway, and heavens I need a sit down these days.
 
So many moons ago yours truly wrote to the PC requesting a seat for the reasons given above, and low and behold my suggestion was voted in and, many moons after the request, there it is – bingo!
 
Well I had to give it a try this afternoon didn’t I.  Biskit laid down and went to sleep – well he’s getting old too!
