Baling the hay

Jussi raked the fields to be baled today before lunch. I was expecting the baler to come at noon, but it was a little late. Because of a technical issue, there were problems from the start, and after 14 bales the contractor decided to drive back home to fix it. We took home the unwrapped bales made so far and fetched the small bales left on fields yesterday.

It was +30°C and there were clouds gathering in the sky. In rain radar there were showers not far from here, so it was quite unnerving to wait, but after 7 pm he finally called that he's back on the field. We fetched two more loads each, but had to leave the latter pair of loads in the trailers and a few unwrapped bales on the field, as it was getting late. Finished the day with a swim (first this summer) to cool down.
