White-tailed deer

Went out with the camera after 9:30 pm and heard the crane's voice from a field about 400 metres from the house. Getting closer, I noticed two deer on the same field. Even though they noticed me as well, they stayed there for 10 minutes and were less than 100 metres away at closest.

Brought the rest of the unwrapped hay bales home before lunch, and also piled the wrapped ones on the field. After lunch it was hot again (+29°C), so after some work outdoors, paid some bills, printed out bank statements etc.

No rain today either, but there's some in the forecast for tomorrow. Interesting that the YR (a Norwegian company) forecast has a maximum rainfall of about 120 millimetres for the next 48 hours. The minimum is just a couple millimetres though.
