Berry Good

Before a busy day in the yard, MrsP and I returned to Waterfront Park (aka boat landing) for more cedar waxwing joy, and we weren’t disappointed! They flitted and flew between two trees, most of the time where we couldn’t see them, but occasionally they exposed themselves in the tops of the trees. They’re so dashing and comical • With rain and a busy weekend ahead we got the lawns mowed and added soil to the potato bags; the tomato and zucchini plants look sad from all of the rain but the broccoli look perky. Not much else is growing and with more rain coming this weekend and the beginning of next week, we’re wondering what will become of our garden. Fingers crossed it stops raining soon and September is warm, otherwise our growing season will be compromised.
