When the Red, Red, Robin

Comes Rob, Rob, Robbin’ Along! • That’s right, you heard it hear first, the robins are stealing our monarch caterpillars, plucking them right off the milkweed plants! Stealing is a benign way of saying “eating” :( I caught this one red-handed. No wonder so few butterflies survive • We purposely got ourselves out early knowing the next January 6 Committee Hearing was at 1pm. I worked on potato bags and watered plants, while MrsP cut up compost and burned a big stick pile. Trash and some mowing got done too • The witnesses in today’s hearing were so effective. All of their testimonies moving and eloquent, most especially Shaye and, her mother, Lady Ruby. Such brave and patriotic Americans • An easy dinner tonight: black beans and rice, topped with avocado and tomato :) • Stay Well & Be Safe!
