Craft room chaos

I am still feeling somewhat overwhelmed with tasks, but am trying to work through them methodically and in order of priority. I was up very early this morning, so I was able to get out in the garden to tackle the backlog of deadheads on the rose bushes before it got too hot. I felt so much better once the garden was looking more loved. 

Later this morning I was given a couple of unexpected dressmaking alterations to do by my daughter-in-law, so out came the overlocker and I threaded it up in black so I could shorten the hem on a summery pants suit for her. It’s a lot more satisfying than taking up umpteen pairs of boys’ school trousers, of which I’ve done a lot over the years!
