The end of our mini break.. what fun we had and the weather in the south west of Wales was simply astonishing.. not a cloud in the sky for three days but it is incredibly dry down there and the verges look more like August and all burnt off than they do normally in June.. it certainly is proving to be a blazing June!
We stopped in to see more friends on the spur of the moment.. it was lovely to have a catch up and they kindly gave us lunch in their garden before we headed home.
The philadelphus is in full bloom and smells divine. I love seeing it glow in the evening light and the bees are all over it.. wonderful to be home but had a great time away.. we feel refreshed and ready with lots of ideas and plans to work on when it isn't too warm!
