More roses

OH was playing in a golf match but had only got as far as the car park when he got a call from the alarm people so say MIL had another fall and was on the floor and couldn’t get up.  Ambulance on the way but was going to be around 2 hours.  He rang me and was not happy!  But what can you do?  Ten hours later he was home again, she was admitted to hospital again, he was starving (while she had had breakfast, sandwiches, tea, fish pie, semolina (?) and yoghurt!!!  Nothing wrong with her appetite.  

I drove over to Tooting to collect No.1 home for a few days.  I had packed lunch and we called into Westerham on the way back and spend a delightful hour at Chartwell.  The house was closed as we had got there too late but the gardens were beautiful and the roses a treat.  Home for dinner in the garden when it had cooled down a bit.
