Beach day

It was Friday so OH played golf and I did BP.

Home to pack up picnic and a drive to the beach. It was overcast but hot although the sun came out when we got there.  We had the best beach kit, with beds, umbrella and picnic.  No.1 enjoyed relaxing and also went for a swim.  No.2 also met us with a friend (originally had planned to meet in Hampstead for coffee but he flipped plans and made the most of the weather).  We finished the day with fish and chips on the beach and fed the remains to the seagulls.  Home by 9.00 although OH didn’t get to the hospital to visit MIL and and will go tomorrow.  Sad end to the day with more obvious signs of treatment and medication but No,1 still putting a brave face on - nothing short  of amazing but it makes me feel so helpless.
