Today I went to Bunnings to get a new grate for the storm water drain and while I was there I spoke with a nice young man who was very knowledgeable... The double layer weedmatting I rolled out yesterday says it only lasts 12 months, so I certainly don't want to have to do this again in a hurry, so I asked the man about the felt that builders lay down before tipping rock on top for pathways etc, so the man directed me to the Geotixtile... $80 later plus the grate I left...
