Post-Solstice Sunset

Solstice is a three day thing, and this evening was the end of the stillness.

It's been a pool day - or for me at least a lazing beside the pool day, because the pain has not stopped yet. We are for the first time this trip all alone. The girls went back yesterday and today John has set out for the L'Ariegeoise, a mad cycle sportive up in the Pyrenees.

We took an evening walk and on the way back I had to hurry a bit in order to honour the setting Sun.
