The plant in the extra has flowered today. Growing in a container it’s a canna lily. Our first ever, a tropical flower opening on a grey day in the north west of England.

The main is a record shot. The house martins arrived yesterday, and they were apparent again today. I had given up on them. Could it be …………. ?
