The Beginning of Something Special

This was the first part of a very special afternoon spent with friends. A scotch quails egg and a miniature brioche filled with delicious egg mayonnaise. The rest of the afternoon tea was just as delicious, sandwich, scones with jam & clotted cream, and gorgeous cakes.

More important than the food was the excellent company of friends old and new. Swapping stories, sharing anecdotes, chatting and laughing together, all to celebrate a friend’s special birthday. All this carried on into the dusk of a perfect summer evening.

What a marvellous day, all perfectly arranged, thoroughly enjoyed and one for which we are very appreciative and grateful.
