A Special Summer Solstice Moment

I had my own special Summer Solstice moment this morning.  I woke around 5am and couldn't get back to sleep so I took my camera and visited this wonderful field of poppies in the village down the road.  I had the whole field to my self and spent a happy hour just enjoying the spectacle, it was so beautiful.  

My main photo is a multiple exposure shot of campions and poppies and given a high key filter.  For those who may prefer to see a view of more of the field I've added a straight photo in extras.

I was very ready for my breakfast when I got home, but I'm so glad I went, it was quite magical.
