Thunderbolt Pier

The heat was brutal today working in direct sunlight for 13 hours. Black uniform and safety boots what a sweat box. Most of the time on tarmac with no shade. Walked 5.7 miles, felt more like 10 in the sun!

Back blipping a day later as I suffered with heatstroke in the evening and felt quite sick. Cold shower, sipped electrolyte rehydration tablet in water then in bed by 830pm. Woke up at 10pm then back to sleep right through til 6am!

Two days of dawn alarms and 13 hour days are much harder to bear in this humidity.
