The Leigh, Gloucestershire

When Lorna's parents retired from Sheffield to Worcestershire in the mid-1930s, they first rented Leigh vicarage before purchasing Raglan House in Somers Road. Lorna mentions the village of Leigh in Gloucestershire just once in her war diary, on 5th December 1940. Germany: Heligoland[4]
Greece: Thermopylae[5]
Russia (3): Karelian Isthmus; Petsamo province (part of Finland until 1944); Vyborg (Viipuri in Finland until 1944)[6]

[1] There is a restaurant with this name in London N8.
[2]  Sidi Barrani is named on some World War II memorials. For example, a blipper in or near Lichfield could photograph this one for us. Please keep your eyes peeled the next time you pass a war memorial.
[3] Perhaps a Finnish blipper could help out with this location in the south of Finland?
[4] Also the name of a 2010 Massive Attack album - check the record collections of your friends and family!
[5] Are you in Paris? Are you going to Paris? Would you have time to pop into the Louvre to photograph Leonidas at Thermopylae by David for us?
[6] If you have access to a globe or a world map, this may be the best way for us to represent these two places. We very much doubt that any blippers will be planning trips here in the near future.
