One more time!

Neither of the girls wanted to go home today but sadly we all had to leave, not before one last dip in the hot tub with mummy after breakfast! I didn’t really want to leave either, such a special time for us all together.

A lovely sunny morning, the sun waking me just after 5.00 am and the Lake sparkling blue but when we stepped outside you could feel the drop in temperature compared with the last few days, much cooler and fresher.
We’ve had the best of both worlds. Above the busy town and the lake, easily accessible when we wanted it but up in the trees away from everyone. So peaceful and lots of wildlife to enjoy; deer every day and squirrels with a visit from pheasants and red kites too.

The family set off south and we headed the other way across the border into Scotland to start our holiday.

We are now on Speyside for the night. A pleasant walk around Grantown on Spey before dinner and a short walk after in lovely evening sunshine. Forecast for tomorrow - rain!
Never mind, Scotland feels like my spiritual home and I will enjoy being here.

Chris is taking out the rubbish in the background!
