Bookham Common

Down on the common the bright greens of spring have mellowed and the trees are now a uniform dark green. Under the trees there are brambles, stinging nettles and convolvulous whose small edition, bindweed, is rapidly taking over some of my flower beds at home.
It was very quiet on the common this morning, just a few dog walkers.
