The Shipping Forecast

This image made me think of the signature tune for the BBC's Late Shipping Forecast on Radio 4.
"Sailing By" was composed by Ronald Binge in 1963.  It is used by the BBC for its late night shipping forecast.

The vessel is the 'Sea Cloud Spirit'.
Is it a windjammer?  Is it a cruise ship?  Yes and yes, it is both.


I spotted this ship from my bathroom window this evening as it left the Forth heading for Aberdeen.  The Bass Rock is in the background.  Sadly, it wasn't under canvas at this point.
