BA273 to San Diego

An early blip as I’m about to board a flight to San Diego for a week on a last minute trip to support family.

No doubt there will be some blips of grandchildren during next 7 days and some shots of sunny California. Mind you, at 21c, it’s cooler than than the humid south east.

About to be crammed into an economy seat for 11 hours 15 minutes, no other option, without spending megabucks, owing to booking so close to departure date. I arrive at 01.05 UK time on 29th, wait for Chris to fly in from Las Vegas then travel together to San Marcos.

The flight home is hopefully better, I was able to reserve a seat with more legroom on the overnight flight, at cost, but it’s a longer journey, with an internal flight from San Diego to Pheonix to pick up the transatlantic flight to Heathrow.

Just heard the 13.50 departure time has been delayed owing to some “routine maintenance “ Must be winding up the elastic.
