Every which way

Chuffed to see a new visitor to our new garden today - a woodpecker! We used to see them in Devon, so good to have one stop by at our Lincolnshire feeding station. Later it was pecking on the lawn, presumably for worms. Don't know if it's a he or she, or maybe a juvenile, nor whether it's a common spotted or a lesser spotted. But, hey! It's a woodpecker! (Another pic in Extras.) But I chose this with the upside down sparrow for my main blip.

It's been humid and dull all day, and I've spent much of the day wiggling my crochet hook. It's now looking as if it might rain at any minute. I wish it would - it might clear the air, as well as giving the garden a drink.
