W-I-D-E on Wednesday: "Blue (Bin Day)"

This back lane in Jesmond seemed an appropriate subject for today's Widwed challenge on the "blue" theme. It was Blue Bin Day in the area covered by Newcastle upon Tyne Council. In Newcastle, blue bins are for recycling. (We actually live a little outside the city boundaries, in North Tyneside's Council area where recycling bins are grey. Confusing? - yes a bit! A national standard would seem a good idea.)

The blue door was a bonus.
