Jardin du Palais Royal

One of my favourite gardens here! Very glad to walk through it today and to work at the BnF Richlieu where I drafted out my fifth chapter. I think there are two more chapters to write after it. I had hoped to be closer to the end of the project at our departure but I'm pleased with what I've been able to get done. J has been very kindly reading over my first four chapters and we had a good talk about them at dinner. I'm extremely  grateful for all of the support I've had for this project, from him and so many other people! Tomorrow we'll be packing up the apartment... In the extras, I give you a classic Bar-Tabac, "Le Louvois" on rue Richelieu.
