Place de Barcelone

Last Parisian run this morning, and last bike ride in the Bois for J (54km). Bus and tram service is ending today at 9pm in an effort to quiet the protests of the police shooting of 17-year old Nahel a couple days ago. Things are quiet in our little corner of Paris, but thanks to friends who wrote to check in on us. 

I took this photo of the beautiful plane trees in Place de Barcelone near métro Mirabeau as I was heading out for my run, and the extra, of the hot air balloon in parc André Citroen and this industrial part of the Seine, was taken on my way back. We've been packing and cleaning since then, with a break for a nice lunch at Le Mirabeau, and we'll make it an early night tonight. Our flight leaves for Spain very early in the morning.
