Warwickshire Corn

We ticked off Oxfordshire and Warwickshire county tops on our way back to Cumbria today. The actual summit of Warwickshire is in a field and the trig in a mass of rape seed plants. However you can park by the side of the road and the the views were  charming.  This is Ebrington Hill, 261m a class 2 Tump.
The top of Oxfordshire is at Whitehorse Hill. ( also 261m and a #2 Tump) The trig (extra) is on Uffington Castle iron age hill fort, close to the White Horse carved into the side of the hill. You can see the very top of its head in the other extra from where we were admiring the unusual glacial features in the valley rather than the horse.
